Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. The individual will work closely with internal teams and clients to tailor IT infrastructure solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate is experienced in sales and business development in the IT sector, with a strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and data center solutions.

Market Research & Strategy Development
- Identify new markets, customer needs, and emerging trends in IT infrastructure.
- Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s customer base.
- Conduct competitor analysis and adapt strategies accordingly.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and partnerships.
- Develop and present tailored IT infrastructure solutions to prospective clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline and drive opportunities from lead to closure.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s overall revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Ensure client satisfaction by offering high-quality IT infrastructure solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Manage client accounts and offer after-sales support as needed.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with technical teams to design and customize IT solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that generate leads and promote IT infrastructure services.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure both client satisfaction and company profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and reports.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, computers or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is a plus.
Experience
- 1+ years of business development or sales experience in the IT sector, preferably in IT infrastructure, cloud services, or managed IT services. However, in case of interest in similar field fresher can also apply.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful business relationships.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies such as cloud computing, networking, data centers, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical solutions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
